Autumn Yatra Day at Quy Fen

Dates:
Sunday 18th Oct 2026 - 10.00am to 4.00pm

Join us for a retreat day of silent walking together in nature, sharing reflections after each stretch of walking with rituals and poetry.

Quy Fen has a rich ecosystem of reedbeds, grasslands and precious chalk streams teeming with birds and insects and other beings.

A Yatra is a spiritual journey where we walk in kindness and silence together through the sacred landscape A chance to connect more deeply with ourselves, eachother and the life all around us.

Walking meditation guidance will be given around awareness of the senses and the elements and there may be various rituals inspired by Buddhism and nature. We welcome the sharing of poetry and reflections at our various comfort stops at the end of a stretch of silent walking.

We have a lovely team who will support the day, helping you feel at home in the land. Please note there are no toilets on this route, only bushes!

Please bring all appropriate walking gear relevant to the weather as well as your own drinks and packed lunch etc.

Arrival point: Layby on the right hand side of the A1303 road going out of town towards Stow Cum Quy roundabout and A14. Its a busy noisy road. You will find it shortly after Darwin Nurseries start looking for the 2nd layby on the right. The first layby is the bus stop.
