TES: Building Emotional Resilience

Dates:
Sunday 17th May 2026 - 11.00am to 3.00pm

Triratna Earth Sangha (TES) host events using Buddhist teachings to respond to the climate crisis

It is very easy to become overwhelmed in our troubled word. Challenges abound - war, climate change, loss of biodiversity, mass migration, political upheaval. We need to develop emotional resilience to be able to respond creatively to such difficulties.

We will be using the Brahma-Viharas – metta (loving kindness); karuna (compassion); mudita (sympathetic joy); upeksha (equanimity) – to collectively explore our response through meditation, discussion, reflection and ritual.

These sessions aim to build a safe and supportive environment for exploring these disturbing issues together. All are welcome – you don’t have to be a climate activist to care!

Please bring a vegan lunch to share.
