Experienced Level Yoga: Thursday with Jane. Intermediate

This course is for established Iyengar students with around two or more years of practice.
Please note this is a six-week course with no classes on 17 and 24 September.
You should be confident with basic standing poses, seated work, simple backbends and the
use of props.
Classes will include regular inversions. You should be able to practise Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) with appropriate setup and be able to hold or be working towards Sirsasana (headstand) or a suitable alternative if needed.

About the teacher
Jane is a level 2 Iyengar yoga teacher. She started practising Iyengar yoga in 1992 and since then has trained in the UK and abroad, including extended time at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India, taught directly by the Iyengar family.
She has been teaching since 2011, and it is an honour and a joy to pass on her love of yoga to others. Learning is an on-going journey, and she continues to attend regular classes, workshops and intensives on topics including yoga philosophy, yoga therapy and yoga for women's health.
What should I bring?
Our bodywork studio has all the equipment needed. Feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.
