Taster Course - Relaxation Methods

The course
In this course you can try out several relaxation methods that offer training to help regulate the nervous system and switch from 'stress mode' to 'relaxation mode' – autogenics, progressive muscle relaxation, somatic movement relaxation and yoga nidra. The course offers an experiential learning environment where you can find out which relaxation method and practice might suit you
The course can be a useful foundation for training in a specific relaxation method, as well as a lead-in to meditation, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, qigong, Tai Chi and yoga.
Relaxation exercises can be an enjoyable experience in and of themselves. Regular practice can support your concentration and sleep, general wellbeing, inner peace, creativity, meditation, as well as gentle psychological processing to release physical and emotional tensions and anxieties.
