Described by the composer/guitarist Leo Brouwer as "…a performer with a very rare combination of energy, expression and perfect technique", Daniela Rossi is an exciting classical guitarist from Bahía Blanca, Argentina, currently based in Cambridge, UK. She studied with Lito González Velasco at the Conservatorio de Música de Bahía Blanca, from where she graduated. She has studied with leading guitarists and teachers worldwide, including Eduardo Isaac, Paolo Pegoraro, Adriano del Sal and Graham Devine.

Daniela’s interest in the music of Romantic composer Giulio Regondi has resulted in a recording featuring his works. She also enjoys collaborating with contemporary composers and recently inspired renowned composers to write for her, such as Mark Houghton (Danse Diabolique) Vincent Lindsey-Clark (The New Folias), Jeffrey McFadden (Rumores de Perales) and Dušan Bogdanović, including his Rossignol, Sonatina: Homage to J. Haydn, Winter Variations, God Bless the Child, Folia Variations and Lux et Umbra. Her upcoming projects include concerts in Europe and Canada. Her second album "Homages - Music by John W. Duarte" with music by J. Duarte, Angelo Gilardino, Mark Houghton and Dusan Bogdanovic has just been released by the label Brilliant Classics.

She has won numerous performance awards and prizes across South America and Europe, including First Prize in the London International Guitar Competition (2015), Second Prize in the Heinsberg Guitar Competition and Festival in Germany (2017), and First Prize in the prestigious XXXVI Luis Sigall International Music Competition held in Viña del Mar, Chile (2009).

Quique Sinesi is considered one of the most important guitarists and composers of contemporary Argentine music. With a career spanning more than four decades, his unique musical language blends Argentine folklore, Río de la Plata traditions, tango, jazz, and contemporary classical music.

His compositions have been published in France, Japan, Belgium, Germany, and Argentina, and performed by renowned guitarists from around the world, including Berta Rojas, Sharon Isbin, Stanley Jordan, Víctor Villadangos, Zsofia Boros, Stephanie Jones,Daniela Rossi, and many others.

Throughout his career, Sinesi has performed and recorded with some of the most influential musicians from Argentina and the international scene, including Dino Saluzzi, Paquito D’Rivera, Pablo Ziegler, Walter Castro, Carlos Aguirre, Juan Falú, Silvia Iriondo, Michel Godard, Markus Stockhausen, Joe Lovano, Enrico Rava, and the Metropole Orchestra, among others.

His international career began with Dino Saluzzi’s quartet, performing at major European festivals, and since then he has presented his music throughout South America, North America, Europe, and Asia. In 2005, he received a Latin Grammy Award as part of Pablo Ziegler’s project with Walter Castro, and in 2008 he was nominated again for the same award. He also recorded the Concerto for Guitar, Bandoneon and Astor Piazzolla Orchestra with the Berlin Radio Orchestra.

Sinesi has developed numerous creative projects, including Sinesis Duo, his long-standing collaboration with his son Augusto. This project explores the dialogue between generations through original compositions and improvisation, combining Argentine roots with contemporary influences. In 2022, Sinesis Duo released the album Hojas y rutas nuevas in Japan.

His recent projects include a duo recording with renowned bandoneonist Martín Sued, as well as the Quique Sinesi Quartet feat. Nana Tarui & Franzi Aller, both scheduled for upcoming CD releases. These works continue his exploration of Argentine traditions, improvisation, and contemporary chamber music.

His discography includes Cuchichiando (2010), 7 Dreams, Family, Pequeños Mensajes Sonoros (Small Sound Messages), Desperate Dance with Pablo Ziegler and Walter Castro, Diálogos de Agua with Nana Tarui (2024), Melodías Aéreas (2024), La Magia with Astrid Motura (2025), nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the Argentine Gardel Awards, and Semilla de Luz with Hikaru Iwakawa (2025).

Sinesi has performed at prestigious international guitar festivals and venues as a soloist and with different ensembles. He is also a dedicated teacher and has published a book of his compositions in Japan through the renowned classical guitar publisher Gendai Guitar.
His instruments include the seven-string Spanish guitar, ten-string guitar, charango, and ronroco, creating a distinctive sound that reflects the richness of South American music while remaining open to contemporary influences.
