Collage Workshop: Fundraiser for Tiratanaloka Unlimited

Dates:
Saturday 30th May 2026 - 10.00am to 4.00pm

Help us raise money for the new women's retreat centre, Tiratanaloka in Ware!

Tiratanaloka has helped 100s of women deepen their Buddhist practice to the point of ordination through friendship, Dharma study and Buddhist practice. As many of you may know, there has been a huge fundraising campaign over the last few years to raise enough money to buy a larger retreat centre for women training for ordination within Triratna, so that many more can benefit from the inspiration that the Tiratanaloka team provides.

Whilst this first step has been achieved and Tiratanaloka have purchased a bigger building - they now need help to get it ready to be able to host retreats! So, I've pledged to raise another £1000 to help decorate one of the bedrooms. Please help me to achieve this goal, which I will be doing through a variety of activities, one of which is this collage workshop.

----------------------------------

Saddhahadaya and Vimalabandhu will be helping me to run this workshop with their different approaches towards collage. You are welcome to come just for the morning session or afternoon session, or you can stay for a whole day of deepening friendships, expressing creativity and reflecting on what inspires you.

It would be helpful if you can book as there is space for 30 people and I will be providing a simple vegan and gluten free lunch as part of the day.

A suggested donation for the day is £30 but please give what feels affordable to you and please only use the Just Giving page to donate and not the CBC website, which you can view HERE. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Materials will be provided, but if you have any spare magazines, glue or scissors then any extras are appreciated.

I hope to see you there!
