People of Colour Morning

Dates:
Saturday 11th May 2024 - 10.00am to 1.00pm

Have you wondered what it might be like to practice Buddhism and meditation among people with a similar lived experience?

This morning will be led by a team of Buddhist practitioners from diverse ethnic backgrounds, providing a different context for People of Colour to come together and practice in.

The structure of the morning will start with a short led meditation, followed by a talk on the 'Reactive and Creative Mind', Q&A, and discussion groups.

There is also the invitation to stay for lunch and socialise. If you do decide to stay it would be great if you could bring something vegetarian or vegan to share.

Who is this event for?

Our People of Colour events are spaces for people who come from diverse backgrounds and who share similar lived experiences. These include the identities of: Black, Indigenous and people of colour, inclusive of Asian, South East Asian, Latinx, Arab / Middle Eastern, biracial, mixed heritage, and multiracial.
