Fundraising Skills Auction

Dates:
Saturday 29th Jun 2024 - 6.30pm to 9.45pm

Fundraising Skills Auction in aid of Cambridge Buddhist Centre

Please come and take part, in person or on Zoom, at this fantastic fundraising event in aid of the Buddhist Centre. The spirit of generosity and abundance will be fully flowing as we auction the wonderful skills and fascinating objects donated by Sangha members in order to boost our beautiful Centre's finances.

Everyone can take part - if you have a skill to offer or an object to donate then please email Padmajata on padmajata100@gmail.com. It's amazing what skills we all have and sometimes our interests can be brought forward as a skill to offer. Some examples from the auction last year in aid of Tiratanaloka are: knitting a hat/scarf, taking people for bluebell wood picnic, cake making, a 3 course meal at your house, gardening and cat-sitting. Examples of objects which could be donated are paintings, sculptures, jewellery and household objects.

Doors open at 6.30pm for cakes and other refreshments and the auction will take place from 7pm to 8pm, and again from 8.30pm to 9.30pm with more refreshments at 8-8.30pm. The Zoom link which is here will open at 6.50pm. Payments will be to a special Just Giving website which details will become available nearer the time.

Love from the team for the Fundraising Skills Auction
