We're delighted to announce that we have a new Centre Manager - Abhayamati is stepping into the post and will be working full-time for the team from 31st May.

I personally am very pleased about this. Abhayamati will bring a depth of experience, both spiritual and organisational, to the role. I anticipate that the team is going to continue to flourish with Abhayamati at the helm. I wish him all happiness and satisfaction in the role.

Vidyasakhi
On behalf of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre Council

Becoming Centre Manager, I feel fortunate to have such a resourceful and creative team in KalyanadhiKamalanagaLee, and Liz. I particularly want to celebrate how well each of them has adapted to the circumstances of the pandemic, each overcoming challenges in their own way. I hope to be able to offer them what help and support I can for them to go from strength to strength.

I am also grateful for the generous help of all our volunteers: teachers, cleaners, tech hosts, gardeners, painters (that's me painting in the photo), class teams, receptionists... who are so crucial to the Centre.

As Manager, I will be working closely with our new Chair, Vidyasakhi, the two Mitra Convenors, Arthasiddhi and Viryajyoti, and the Centre Council, to realise the vision of Sangha: that precious, liberating, challenging quality that arises out of shared Dharmic activity.

And, of course, that includes you, reading this email; your practice, your contribution, your inspiration, generosity, and support. May we all flourish and progress!

Yours in the Sangha,
Abhayamati
