About our 'Dana Economy'
Dana is a Sanskrit and Pali word meaning ‘generosity’.
Cambridge Buddhist Centre is a thriving Buddhist community based on a culture of generosity, where we give what we can for the benefit of others.
We teach Buddhism and meditation because we believe in their benefit to the world. We want to make them available to everyone, so all our meditation and Buddhism classes are freely given. We rely on the generosity of visitors and supporters to keep the centre going.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to be part of something radical: a community that gives to the world and to one another, without expecting anything in return.
If you want to contribute to this exciting project, please support us by making a regular or one-off donation. Regular monthly donations are particularly helpful, as they give us a reliable income stream, which allows us to budget more effectively.
Thank you for your generosity,
The Cambridge Buddhist Centre Team
