Sub30's: The significance of images in the spiritual life

On Friday 5th of September, Amritavani will bring her love of image and symbol to our Sub30's group.
The whole of the Buddhist life, for many people, begins with an image of the Buddha in seated meditation. An image that can say so much more than words. Amritavani will talk to us about her personal connection with images as well as images from Buddhist stories to take us out of our heads and into our hearts.

Do you want to meet others interested in living a radical life of transformation and growth?
Sub30s is an evening of connection, meditation, and discussion. You don’t need to be a Buddhist to join, it’s open to anyone aged 18 - 30.
Start your month with an evening exploring how Buddhism can give us a radically different perspective on modern life and talk to other young people who are using this to realise more of their potential and transform their lives. Join us on the first Friday of each month at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre, from 7.15–9:30 pm.
There is no need to book, just come along. Even if you are completely new, you are welcome.
This event is for young people aged 18 to 30 interested in Buddhism and Meditation. If you have any questions or would like to know if this event is suitable for you or a young person contact us at info@cambridgebuddhistcentre.com.
