Autumn Weekend Retreat

Dates:
Friday 22nd Nov 2024 to Sunday 24th Nov 2024 - 6.00pm to 3.00pm

Autumn Weekend Retreat - The Symbolism of the Wheel of Life

The Retreat Take the opportunity to connect with the joy and inspiration of a Buddhist retreat community; there is no better way to connect more deeply with the transformational and deeply positive message of the Buddha's teaching. We will be exploring the multi-faceted symbolism of the wheel of life, as a mirror on our own lives and on the world we live in.

Everyone is welcome on this retreat - even if you are relatively new! All you need to be ready for this retreat is interested in meditation, curious about myth and ritual and open to Buddhist teachings - you don't have to be a fully signed-up Buddhist!

Dana Economy This retreat is bookable with a £50 non-refundable deposit. We offer retreatants the opportunity to make an additional donation, which you can do at the checkout. There will also be a dana announcement on the retreat where you can make a donation by card or cash. As a guide, a donation of £100 on top of the booking deposit would cover all the basic costs of us putting on this retreat. If you are able to donate more, then this additional income will help us to continue to run these retreats and support others with limited means to attend our retreats. For more information on our Dana Economy, click HERE.

Retreat details You will be sent information on what to bring with you when you make your booking, as well as directions to the Retreat Centre and a link to help you to share lifts.

Dietary and medical needs All meals are vegan; if you have a food allergy or medical condition requiring a special diet, please enter the details at the checkout. If you know that you snore, it would also be useful to include this information so that it may be taken into account when allocating rooms. Single rooms are strictly limited and may only be allocated to those with mobility or health issues.

Note Please be aware that none of the classes/events run by the Cambridge Buddhist Centre is aimed at under 18-year-olds.
