Meditation and Poetry Day

Dates:
Saturday 14th Sep 2024 - 10.00am to 4.00pm

From Dukkha to Equanimity

This is a silent day of practice providing inspiration for helpful ways to engage with the difficulties and challenges that are a natural part of life. It will encourage gentleness, receptivity and curiosity, through the enjoyment of insightful poems.

There will be a simple programme of sitting and walking meditations and contemplations, accompanied by much poetry with a few reflections on the poems and what we can learn from them. There will be breaks for tea and lunch and an opportunity to discuss the day with someone else at the end.

The day is suitable for everyone who knows how to meditate.

Please Note:
Please bring vegan lunch to share.
