Women's Morning: With Sagaraghosa

Dates:
Saturday 5th Jul 2025 - 10.00am to 12.30pm

Practising with the challenges of life: a workshop on conditionality

Most of us suffer from stress of one kind or another in our lives. In this workshop we shall explore a way of looking at our experience which illustrates how the Buddha might understand what is happening. This can give some insights into what it might be helpful to do and how to be with the challenges of life. In particular, we shall explore the eightfold path that the Buddha taught with everyday practical examples.

The session will be led by Sagaraghosa who led newcomers’ Buddhism and meditation courses at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre for 14 years. Windhorse Publications has published her book, Starting on the Buddhist Path, which is a clear and accessible introduction to Buddhism and encourages readers to explore the truth of the Buddha’s teachings in their own experience. It can be purchased in our bookshop to help support the Centre.

Sagaraghosa will be happy to sign copies of the book.
