Dharma Night: Celebrating Bhante's 100th Birthday

On Tuesday 26th August we will be celebrating a very special anniversary at Dharma Night. This date marks 100 years since the founder of the Triratna Community was born. We will be joined by Jnanavaca (president of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre), who will be drawing out the significance of Sangharakshita’s founding of a new Buddhist Order and worldwide Buddhist community. He will also be looking at Sangharakshita’s life and his many contributions to making the Buddha-Dharma readily available to practice in our modern age. Jnanavaca will be sharing his personal recollections of the man who guided and shaped the Triratna Community we encounter today. Join us for this celebration - a date worth putting in your diary!
