Schools, sixth forms and teacher training colleges are welcome to visit the Buddhist Centre. We require that the students have had some input about Buddhism before the visit and it is very helpful if they come with questions.

We recommend a one-hour visit for primary school groups and one and a half-hours for secondary schools, with an extra half hour if they wish to do project work (e.g. writing).

Our school visits leaders are all experienced Buddhists with training in communication with children and young people.

Preferred times for visits are 10 am – 12.30 p.m. but we can accommodate afternoon visits.

We ask for £2.50 per student for the visit.
