Sangha Night: Talk - Going for Refuge

Date:Tuesday 27th February 2018
Time:7.30pm - 9.30pm
Cost:Free, but donations welcome
Led by:Arthapriya
Description:Arthapriya will be talking about the key to Buddhist practice.
Arthapriya is a Public preceptor and very much involved with helping men to prepare for life as Order Members by constantly clarifying the deeper meaning of going for refuge to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

As a way of marking the 50th birthday of the Order we have decided to revisit a couple of series of talks that Bhante Sangharakshita gave in the Sixties and Seventies and ask speakers to give their own up to date version using the same titles that Bhante used. The 2 series of talks are The Meaning of Conversion in Buddhism (1965/66) and Human Enlightenment (1975).
