Moonhenge Yatra Day

Moonhenge is a ceremonial site dedicated to the Sacred Feminine. It's a beautiful place made from ancient peat bog oaks and aligned with the moon and the lunar calendar.
It was built out of a shared vision between an organic farmer and friends and in remembrance of his late wife. www.moonhenge.co.uk
On this Moonhenge Yatra
We will walk in metta-ful silence together in the ancient fenlands which produced the bog oaks. Inspired by the female Buddha Tara.
We will be connecting mindfully with ourselves, the landscape, and one another.
We will start and finish at Moonhenge.
Please bring your own drinks, snacks, and packed lunch.
What is a Yatra?
A Yatra is a Buddhist-inspired walking retreat; a mindful and devotional celebration of our land and our mutual interconnectedness with it and one another.
'Yatra' means 'spiritual journey' and the Buddha's followers were 'Yatrikas', or wanderers. And so we will be evoking the way of life of the very earliest Buddhists - but " upon England's green and pleasant land."
We will walk at a gentle pace with plenty of breaks when we can talk, and share poetry or reflections if we so wish.
