The Journey and the Guide (Online course)
An eight-week course exploring the five essential elements for human growth.
How do we know if we are growing? Are we just going round in circles, or even going backward?
In this course, we'll be taking a down-to-earth and practical look at five essential elements that help us to grow and to live a truly meaningful life.
The book The Journey and the Guide, written by experienced Buddhist teacher and poet Maitreyabandhu, will be our guide to daily practice. You will need to purchase a copy for the course. You can buy it directly from Windhorse Publications.
The course will take place on Zoom on Saturday mornings. Please attend all of these if possible.
The course has already begun, but it's still possible to join from week two!
Our Meditation Night series on Thursday evenings will act as an additional practice session to complement the course that we would encourage you to attend or you can catch up with on our YouTube channel:
The first Thursday night session will be on 8th April, which is before the first Saturday morning session on 10th April.
Thursday evenings - 7pm-8pm on the CBC Youtube channel
Saturday mornings - 9.15am-11am on Zoom (a meeting link will be sent to you with your booking confirmation)
