Faith, Friendship and the Flames of Truth (Non-Residential)

Dates:
Friday 27th Dec 2019 to Sunday 29th Dec 2019 - 7.30pm to 12.30pm

Non-Residential Retreat - Join us for a weekend of exploration, reflection and meditation.

We'll be telling stories from the Life and Liberation of Padmasambhava, performing ritual and sharing the reflective space of Cambridge Buddhist Centre. This weekend is suitable for anyone with at least six months practice here at CBC and who is open to ritual and a touch of tantric magic! If you are new to the Centre, take a look at our January residential retreat for newcomers HERE.

The retreat will take place at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre. It will start on Friday evening at 7.30pm, with doors open from 7pm, and will be finished by 9pm. We will then meet again at 8am on Saturday and there will be a full programme from then until 8.30pm in the evening. We ask that you bring some vegetarian or vegan food to share for lunch and the Centre will provide you with breakfast and an evening meal. The retreat will start again at 8am on Sunday and will be finished by 12.30pm. Again, breakfast will be provided and you will be able to return home in time for lunch. If you have any dietary issues that you have not let us know already, then please do get in touch. All meals will be vegan; you are welcome to bring cow's milk if you wish (we provide soya and oat milk).

The nature of a retreat means that we ask everyone to attend for the whole duration. If you are not able to attend for the whole duration, please contact us at info@cambridgebuddhistcentre.com and we can recommend an alternative event or course.
