Young womens' retreat: An ever-widening circle
'An ever widening circle, the Sangha grows’, so says the three-fold puja.
The sangha is a growing circle of friendship based on practice, and this retreat is a space where we can co-create conditions for deepening friendships in the sangha. Connecting more deeply with our bodies and the earth, we find that our sense of ourselves widens and expands to include more and more of life.
This retreat will be held at Rivendell Retreat Centre in Uckfield, East Sussex and is co-lead by the Young womens' team.
We can offer a limited number of assisted places if your financial circumstances prevent you from going on the retreat. Please contact us allowing a few weeks before the retreat.
Do you need a lift? Can you offer lifts? Use this page to help you to arrange lifts with others, post a sticky note of your details for others to contact you and to read other's notes. Double click to add a note. Keep checking back for new notes.
Important: the diet is vegetarian/vegan, and the recipes are planned and the food is bought in advance. If you have a food allergy or medical condition requiring a special diet, please email us the details on receipt of your booking confirmation. Its best also to check with the organizer when you arrive.
If you need to arrive slightly late or leave before the end, please consult with the retreat leader now.
Lost property: if you leave something behind, it is important that you talk with the Buddhist Centre first and not the retreat venue.
Retreats are a special event where people enjoy coming together and support one another to practice the Dharma. While every care will be given to all those attending, the Cambridge Buddhist Centre cannot be responsible for the loss of personal possessions, nor look after you appropriately if you fail to disclose important information about your health. If in doubt please consult us now.
