Yoga Therapy with Jessyca Machado
Yoga Therapy is a practice based on the teachings of Swami Satyananda Saraswati and is suitable for all levels of experience.
Yoga Therapy can be practiced on its own as a form of gentle yoga; it is very useful for beginners, helping them prepare their bodies for yoga practice, and for advanced practitioners, as a form of subtle healing.
The Yoga Therapy course is composed of an anti-rheumatic sequence, for the lubrication of the joints, Digestive/Abdominal sequence for strengthening of the digestive system and Energy Block sequence to improve the energy flow in the body and break neuro muscular knots. In addition to that we will practice breathing techniques, Trataka (eye-cleansing exercises), a standing sequence for stretching and strengthening the body and the Surya Namaskar (sun salutation sequence) which is a dynamic, vitalising practice, ideal to start the day.
