Monthly Men's Morning (In-person)

Saturday 13th Aug 2022 - 10.00am to 12.00pm

Exploring Collective Dharma Enquiry

Bhante Sangharakshita talked about our communication within the spiritual community ideally being one of ‘vital mutual responsiveness’. How can we create the conditions for such alive, open, and creative communication in the context of Dharma study?

In meditation, we seek to find a space of calm to explore the mind and to become more emotionally aware and responsible. How can we bring these qualities of mindfulness and kindly awareness developed in meditation into the sphere of our dialogue with others?

Collective study helps us to clarify our understanding of the Dharma and how we bring this into relationship with our Dharma life. How can we take our understanding deeper in collective reflection with friends?

The approach of ‘Insight dialogue’ outlined by Gregory Kramer offers six simple guidelines for how we can engage with Dharma reflection, and bring a more meditative dialogue to our Dharma enquiry with others.

Men’s morning will include a meditation and introduction to these six principles, followed by an exploration of these in practice.

Come and join us in this exploration!

Our Men's Mornings take place on the second Saturday of every month.
