Full Moon Puja (In-person)

Dates:
Friday 17th Dec 2021 - 7.15pm to 9.15pm

Full Moon Puja

End the week with an inspiring and welcoming in-person evening of meditation, ritual and storytelling. These events follow the tradition of the Buddhist community gathering together on the night of the Full Moon.

The evening will include collective and personal practice, encouraging us to connect with our aspiration to follow the path to awakening, climaxing with a ritual (puja).

In the December event, as we approach the winter solstice, we will imaginatively enter the underworld, leading us to Vessantara’s Midnight Star puja dedicated to Green Tara.

These events take place each month on whichever Friday is closest to the full moon. The event is open to anyone who is familiar with the basics of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices.

Doors open at 7pm, with the evening starting promptly at 7.15pm.
