Our annual Dharma Day festival is a celebration of the Enlightened State communicating itself.
Dharma Day festival marks the occasion on which the Buddha first communicated his teaching (Dharma), making it possible for any human being to practise as he practised, and so attain the liberation of Awakening.
The Cambridge Buddhist Centre will be marking Dharma Day online this year, partly by joining a talk offered by Padmaloka Retreat Centre. This Padmaloka session and the whole programme is open to everyone.
Here is our full programme for the day:
8:00-9:00am Morning Meditation (CBC), led by Dharmanatha on Zoom
10:30-12:30am Talk by Padmavajra (Padmaloka Retreat Centre):
“Listen, The Deathless has been Attained.”, followed by Q&A. (Open to all on YouTube.)
4:00-5:15pm A short, informal gathering in groups (optional), followed by Sevenfold Puja (led by Amarachandra - CBC) on Zoom.
For security, Zoom links are available by email. If you do not already have the link, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org with 'Zoom links' in the subject field.
