Catalyst Cambridge: Artworks from a Buddhist life

Dates:
Saturday 19th Oct 2019 to Friday 6th Dec 2019 - 10.00am to 1.00pm

An exhibition of drawings and paintings done on Saddharaja's travels around India.

Trained as a graphic designer, Saddharaja worked at Windhorse Trading for 25 years before working at the Forensic Psychiatric Ward at Fulbourn Hospital. Since 2003, Saddharaja has worked on many Buddhist development projects in India and is currently working on a project in Calcutta, setting up a new Centre.

Hear him talk about the project on 12th October at the Catalyst Evening from 7.30pm. More HERE.

Saddharaja paints and draws everything he sees, particularly outdoors, and has many sketchbooks of his travels in India. He often draws portraits of Indian people for them to keep.

This new exhibition at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre runs for Thursday October 19th to Friday 6th December, and covers specifically Buddhist imagery in Saddharaja’s inimically colourful and vibrant style.
