Introduction to Buddhism & Meditation Weekend Retreat
The Buddha’s teachings inspire and empower us to live more simply, meaningfully and kindly.
This residential retreat is particularly, but not exclusively, aimed at people who are new to, or in their first year of Buddhist meditation. It offers you the chance to step out of your life for a weekend, and find a wider perspective on how you live it, whilst enjoying the simple pleasures of a retreat community.
Our two main meditation practices, the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana, will be taught and there will be meditation workshops and talks on Buddhism, as well as the opportunity to engage with simple devotional practices.
The retreat will be held at Vajrasana, which is a brand new bespoke retreat centre situated in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
We can offer a limited number of assisted places if your financial circumstances prevent you from going on the retreat. Please contact us allowing a few weeks before the retreat.

Retreats are a special event where people enjoy coming together and support one another to practice the Dharma.
