Deep Relaxation Training 2
Nine weeks of exploring deep relaxation by training in a particularly comprehensive and effective relaxation pathway: autogenics.
We will also use elements of active relaxation, mindfulness, positive emotion training and progressive muscle relaxation in this course. It depends on daily home practice, which is an essential part of the course.
Deep relaxation is a very pleasant experience in itself as it helps dissolve holding patterns in the body-mind. It can support your concentration general well-being, inner peace, creativity, meditation, sleep, as well as gentle psychological processing to release physical and emotional tensions and anxieties.
Like most relaxation pathways, autogenics harmonises and integrates the nervous system, and through that the body and mind more broadly. As the training progresses, your bodymind will relax more and more deeply, you will be able to “get into” deep relaxation more quickly, have more opportunities to creatively work with your mind in deep relaxation, and the overall benefits of deep relaxation will be longer-lasting. Furthermore, with daily practice there is the possibility of establishing quick relaxation routines that can support you during the day, wherever you are.
The training course includes a day workshop, 10.00am - 4.00 pm on Sunday 28 April
There will not be a session on Good Friday, 19 April.
