Sangha Night: Building a Team Culture of Giving

Tuesday 15th Dec 2020 - 7.15pm to 9.15pm

It is in no doubt that we're living in unprecedented times.

One of the most startling features of this pandemic has been the incredible generosity it has generated among people, manifesting in ways both big and small.

In almost all Buddhist traditions, generosity (dana) is seen as being the fundamental virtue for a person to develop. But, how far does our imaginative connection with generosity extend? Do we really have an inspiring vision of how transformative generosity in practice can be?

The pandemic has given us the opportunity to explore this not just in theory, but in ways that can have an impact here and now. Our online program, for example, exists because of the generosity of class comers.

Over the coming weeks in Sangha Night then we will be exploring the principles of generosity and their power to transform.

On the last evening of our theme we have Viryajyoti with us to talk about how generosity can underpin and deepen our whole experience of working together with others.

Sangha night begins at 7.15pm on Zoom. If you do not already have Zoom already, you can download it for free:
