Collage Workshop: Seeing things in different ways

Dates:
Sunday 16th Apr 2023 - 10.00am to 4.00pm

This is a day to give your critical mind a break and to let your appreciative mind flourish.

This is a day to give your critical mind a break and let your appreciative mind flourish. The event is open to everyone and you do not need to be an artist to attend and take part.

In the morning we will harvest images intuitively, but randomly from various magazines to prepare the ingredients for the collages.

From our collection of images, with a beginner’s mind, we will select the most striking images and let them interact freely on the paper.

In the afternoon there be an opportunity to work in small groups, where each person will work in silence to intuitively build a mysterious collage together.

Requests

On the day please bring any magazines or leaflets to share, a pair of scissors, paper and some glue.

There will be a shared lunch, so please bring vegetarian food to share with others on the day.

Cambridge Buddhist Centre is a thriving Buddhist community based on generosity.
