Our annual festival day to celebrate the Buddha's Enlightenment.

9.00–9.50 - Order Member meditation

10.00–11.00 - Welcome to the day and meditation

11.00–11.10 - Short break

11.10–12.10 a) Talk: What can early Buddhist art tell us about the nature of the Buddha by Amarachandra

or

b) Activities for children (parents please contact Anantamati at janlosborne@yahoo.co.uk to let her know you will be attending as it helps her plan activities)

12.10–12.30 - Tea break

12.30–1.00 - Groups to discuss themes from the talk

1.00–2.30 - Lunch – please bring vegan/vegetarian lunch to share

2.30–2.50 - Inauguration of Amarachandra as the new women’s Mitra Convenor

2.50–3.10 - Puja – part 1 which will include children making offerings to the Buddha – everyone welcome

Short break

3.20–4.30 - Puja – part 2 not suitable for children
