Parinirvana Day - Untimely Blossoms (In-person)
Our annual festival day where we gather to honour the Buddha, contemplate his death and the meaning of his teaching.
Even a Buddha dies, but the passing of Buddha Shakyamuni was no ordinary death.
A day of meditation, reflection, ritual, and a talk followed by discussion in groups, commemorating the Parinirvana of the Buddha, based on the Mahaparinibbana Sutta. People are invited to bring along photographs of loved ones who have recently passed away.
The day will be led by Amaya, Yashodaka and Akasasiddhi.
