Another Wandlebury Woodland Summer Yatra!

Sunday 14th Jul 2024 - 10.30am to 4.00pm

Join us for a day of meditative walking through Wandlebury's woodlands with short sitting meditations at each stop, poetry, ritual, and nature connection.

Although we encourage you to join us for the whole day there is the option to join us for one or more single stretches of walking (around 40 minutes duration) at either 10.30am or 2pm.
You would then need to make your own way back to the car park while the Yatra continues on.

If you're arriving at 10.30 meet by the information noticeboard in Wandlebury Country Park Car park.
And if you're coming for 2pm, meet us by 1.50 in the inner ring where we will be having our picnic lunch. If you're running late call Suryamani on 07763 774833.

Car park is £3 for the day. Car sharing or cycling encouraged. You can find more information here.

A Yatra is a silent walking meditation retreat through (and as part of) our sacred landscape where we can connect more deeply with ourselves, each other and our land.

Walking meditation guidance will be given around awareness of the senses and there will be ritual inspired by our Dharmic connection with nature.

There will be regular stops for sitting meditation and comfort breaks.

Our experienced team will support the day and help you feel at home in the landscape.

Please bring appropriate walking gear for the weather and all your own food and drinks for the day.

Let us know if there are any questions about the day by emailing Suryamani
