Triratna Earth Sangha - Video inspiration

Dates:
Saturday 25th Nov 2023 - 10.00am to 1.00pm

Video inspiration.

Inspired by a recent Greenpeace video capturing what people thought about the climate crisis, Jeremy will be encouraging us to reflect on what we really care about the climate emergency from our Buddhist perspective and articulate it in 1-2 short sentences. This will then be captured in short video clips as an inspiring take on what Buddhism has to say about how we respond to climate change.

This is a series of events triratna Earth Sangha organised on the last Saturday of the month by the Triratna Earth Sangha. triratnaearthsangha.network, an initiative by Order Members, Mitras and friends whose practice centres on ameliorating the harm caused by the climate and ecological crises.

The aim is to provide a safe and supportive context for exploring these issues from a Buddhist perspective. These public meetings aim to be informative, empowering and inspiring - both a call to action and a chance to replenish our connection with ourselves, the Sangha and our deepest values.

The mornings involve meditation, a talk, a Q&A, group discussions and a chance to report-in on actions around climate and ecological harm.

In the afternoon, the Big Sit will take place at the Grand Arcade between 2-3 pm.
