A plain and simple meditation day, 10am to 4pm, led by Padmajata and team
Do you feel like doing more meditation than usual? Moving into a different space around the Easter holiday? Do you know the two main meditation practices the mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana?
Well, this may be a day of practice for you. Please feel free to come to all or any part of this plain and simple meditation day. We will do 5 meditations, each one starting on the hour ie 10am, 11am, 12noon, 2pm and 3pm. The meditations will last 45 minutes and inbetween there will be short silent periods for stretching, walking meditation, tea and so on and these will be in silence. Lunch between 1 and 2pm won't be in silence however.
Doors open at 9 30am,p please come and have a nice cuppa with everyone, and then after that please come in the little window between 10 to the hour and 5 to the hour to enter for the next meditation.
Doors will be open all through lunch (please bring vegetarian food to share).
