New Year Meditation Challenge

Dates:
Thursday 16th Jan 2025 to Thursday 6th Feb 2025 - 7.15pm to 9.30pm

Change Your Mind

Start the New Year by developing a regular meditation practice. The challenge is to meditate every day for 21 days and come to the Cambridge Buddhist Centre at least once a week. It’s now well known that meditation has a positive effect on pretty much every aspect of our lives.

But despite the apps and good intentions, it can be a challenge to keep up a regular meditation practice. To find motivation, we need encouragement from others, which can connect us to a vaster perspective for our lives.

Through instruction in meditation alongside Buddhist teachings, find inspiration to practice by reflecting on the bigger picture, such as the preciousness of life. Join in to discover your own reasons to meditate – and to keep it going.

Even if you've never meditated before, we'll give you everything you need to set up an effective practice. See for yourself what a difference this can make in your life, and how supportive practicing with others can be.

There will be weekly guidance emails, online meditations and mentoring for 18 - 30 year olds on the challenge, and a weekly in-person class on a Thursday where the main themes will be explored.
