Going Deeper with your Meditation
Open to all and aimed particularly at people who are relative newcomers to meditation.
This meditation day is aimed at relative newcomers to the CBC. You may have been on a course such as Life with full attention or Transform your life, or perhaps you have been coming to the drop-in meditation classes during the week. This means you may know both the practices of Mindfulness of breathing and Metta bhavana (development of loving kindness) or alternatively have done some of the elements of these practices.
Wherever you are right now with meditation, this day is aimed at supporting you going deeper in your explorations. There will be some teaching, guidance and discussion and also we will do both practices in full in the morning and afternoon.
Ideally people will come for the whole day but if you can do only the morning or the afternoon that's okay as well.
This event welcomes people from the local groups associated with Cambridge.
Doors open at 9.30am so please come along then and tune in with a cuppa, and bring vegetarian lunch to share.
Please be aware that none of the classes/events run by the Cambridge Buddhist Centre are aimed at under-18-year-olds.
All under 18-year-olds must be accompanied by their parent or another responsible adult over 18 (with their parent's permission).
