The Deeper Meaning of the Five Precepts
A Practice Day for Women Mitras
When we become mitras we take on to practice the five ethical precepts – which are a path to richer engagement with our own lives and the whole of life. Deepening our understanding and practice of the precepts helps us to connect more empathetically with ourselves and the world around us connecting us with our deepest values and pointing to something beyond our limited sense of self. The practice of the precepts then moves from being a foundational practice of ethics to something more wonderful, more freeing.
This practice day is for women Mitras. It will be in the first-floor shrine room and if access is an issue please contact us.
