Triratna Earth Sangha - (In-person)

A day of practice organised by the Triratna Earth Sangha on the last Saturday of every month.
Taking stock of the climate and natural world-
With temperature records being broken this summer here in East Anglia as well as around the world, many people are feeling that the climate crisis has in a way ‘come home', and are experiencing a new level of concern about the future.
We might already be responding in many ways: through our spiritual practice to have a positive influence in the world, we might sometimes engage in some form of climate activism, or work to promote change within institutions.
On this morning we take stock of how we are thinking and feeling about these issues now, how we can resource ourselves and deepen our inspiration. How are we responding? Would we like to respond differently? How do we think Triratna Earth Sangha is doing? What inspires us, and how can we deepen our connection with that?
This is a series of events organised on the last Saturday of the month by the Triratna Earth Sangha, an initiative by Order Members, Mitras and friends whose practice centres on ameliorating the harm caused by the climate and ecological crises.
The aim is to provide a safe and supportive context for exploring these issues from a Buddhist perspective. These public meetings aim to be informative, empowering and inspiring - both a call to action and a chance to replenish our connection with ourselves, the Sangha and our deepest values.
The mornings involve meditation, a talk, a Q&A, group discussions and a chance to report-in on actions around climate and ecological harm.
In the afternoon, the Big Sit will take place in the Grafton Centre main entrance (with an option for outdoor sitting) between 2-3pm.
