Women GFR Mitra Day: Living in the Mandala of the five Jinas

Cost:There is no charge for this event. However the Centre does depend on donations and we would be grateful for any donation you can make. A suggested amount would be £10.00 – £20.00.

Description:A day of practice for women GFR mitras and Order members hosted by Cambridge, and open to all GFR mitras and Order members in the East Anglian region.
We will evoke the Buddhas of the five Buddha /Jina mandala, using the lovely space of the large theatre in Cambridge Buddhist Centre, and explore how we can bring their qualities into manifesting more fully in our lives.

Programme:

9:30 Doors open
10:00 Start
10:15 Meditation and Five Jina puja
11:15 Three short talks evoking three of the Jinas
12:00 Small discussion groups - take your tea there
Discussion involving reporting in, the qualities we relate to from the talks and how to put those qualities into practice
13:00 Lunch - bring vegetarian lunch to share
14:00 Two short talks on the remaining two of the Jinas
14:30 Small discussion of the qualities related to these two talks
15:00 Creative space making enriching and making offerings for the Five Jina shrines in the theatre
15:30 Final ritual
16:00 Finish
