Time:10am - 4pm
Cost:£80.00 / £60.00 Conc.

Description:A weekend learning about Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
If you want to explore and learn how to express yourself with honesty (but without blame) and how to be able to receive others (and yourself) with empathy this weekend is for you!

Suitable for beginners as well as people already familiar with NVC. We'll be exploring our own communication and life through blend of input, interactive activities and role-plays. There will be plenty of space in which to be heard and/or to offer your emphatic ear.

You may want to dip into the NVC book 'Language of life' by Marshall Rosenberg beforehand. Prior knowledge of NVC is not required.

After attending the workshop, you will increase your skills in and capacities in:

• Communicating clearly, to the point and in a human way

• Being honest without insulting people

• Hearing others with empathy

• Hearing blame and criticism of others and hearing the message behind blame

• Initiating and navigating through difficult conversations

• Deepening your relationships with others (and with yourself)

• Inspiring willing co-operation

Viryakumara (Peter Kuklis) is a certified trainer in both NVC and Focusing and a Laughter Yoga leader. He‘s been leading communication, leadership and emotional intelligence workshops in businesses, NGOs, retreat centres and in open groups in the UK and his native Slovakia.
